A great bowling green doesn’t happen by accident.
Throughout the season, Newport Pagnell Bowling Club’s volunteers cut the green up to five times a week, roll off the morning dew and carefully manage grass treatments to ensure the playing surface remains in exceptional condition. Their efforts have earned the club a reputation for having one of the finest greens in North Buckinghamshire, regularly hosting county matches and attracting players from across the region.
Maintaining those standards, however, requires specialist equipment.
The club’s ageing precision sprayer had become unreliable, making it difficult to apply treatments accurately. Worn nozzles risked damaging the green, while creating potential safety concerns for volunteers using the equipment.
